Why I Love Tuck Part 1

It’s only been (not even) two weeks and I feel like I am about two months into school. It’s currently 12:28am on Wednesday morning. Am I studying? Probably should be. However, I just got back from Tripod Hockey (tripod meaning you use your two skates and stick to keep from falling). Sunday I played soccer for about two hours, and will have rugby practice this Friday. On top of the sports, there are also career club events (the Entrepreneurship club hosted an awesome event last night on some of the companies T’11s have started, which will be a separate post), as well as social club events (for Mexican Independence Day, there was a very large fiesta to celebrate here in the dorms).

I say that to say this – Tuck is a place where you can do all these things. The amount of activities are limitless on campus and within the community. The beauty of it is that within the student body, you don’t have to be afraid to try something new, different, outside of the box – there will be another 250 classmates who are likely doing the same thing. And the great thing is – all these activities are done with some of the most humbling people I’ve met.

I’m sure there will be plenty of things that come to mind on why I love tuck, which is why I labeled it Part I. I’m proud to be a Tuckie!

Oh yea, I totally forgot to mention that we have to study, too, so I should probably get back to that regression that is staring me in the face…
