Many of Wharton’s student clubs have prominent roles not only on campus, but within their industries and fields as well. Recently, the Wharton Energy Club was invited on a national call to celebrate Earth Day that included Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jon Carson, White House Director of the Office of Public Engagement. Secretary Chu personally commended the Wharton Energy Conference as a signature event that exemplifies the great work student leaders are doing.
