Hello again,
I’m off on a major recruiting trip next week to a new location for Tuck. We are holding our first receptions in Africa. I’ll be traveling to Lagos, Nigeria; Accra, Ghana; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Our current students from Africa have been working on a “Tuck Africa Initiative” for a while, and they organized a Tuck Trek to Kenya last spring. Over 23 students went on the trip and learned lots about the culture and about business there.
We appreciate diversity here in all forms, and we are hoping to have some students from these countries in next year’s class. Our current alumni in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa are working hard to be sure we have lots of people at the receptions and I’ll learn a lot from all of them.
I’ll be taking tons of photos to publish when I get back, so stay tuned!
