I made all of my goals for the week, but just barely, which goes to show how important it is for me to write my goals down (and publish them for the blogosphere to see). I thought about slowing down during my run a lot, but then I would cringe at the thought of logging a slower time in this post and pick up the pace.
Because of the onset of the final examination period, I’m not getting as much sleep and being tired and stressed seems to make running more difficult. So, with my finals exam schedule in mind, I am going to set modest goals for next week. I’ll aim for a run time of 20:10, 60 sit-ups, and 12 push-ups.
Besides an improvement in my numbers, my muscle tone is improving and I’m starting to lose some weight. Because of this, my clothes are fitting better (a relief, because there is no way I could afford to go out and acquire a new, larger wardrobe). I’ve also noticed that I feel better, both physically and mentally.
