For those of you applying to USC Marshall class of 2011 and interested in pursuing a career in social enterprise/sustainability, check out the Society and Business Fellowship.
You will be among the first to participate in a “virtual incubator” that unites the Marshall School, USC, and global partners to assist with capacity building for start-up social enterprises.
The Marshall School of Business established the Society and Business Lab (SBL) last September to design and implement new models of corporate engagement in global social issues. Faculty, staff and students from the Lab will work with locally-based and multi-national firms to identify non-cash resources that can be used to ease the burden on NGO’s as they attack social, environmental, health and education issues. Also, through education and research, the Lab will be facilitating the training of the next generation of enlightened business leaders.
Applications are due on June 1, 2009. I encourage everyone interested in changing the world through business to apply! Click here for more information.
