The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania will not offer class visits, lunches with students or campus tours for prospective applicants during its final exam period and fall break later this month, according to a recent post on the Wharton Admissions Blog.
There will be no formal visit days from Wednesday, October 20th, through Wednesday, October 27th, the post advised.
Regularly scheduled information sessions, however, will continue uninterrupted. These sessions, which take place Monday through Friday at 3 p.m., give prospective applicants an opportunity to talk with a member of the Admissions Committee, learn more about the Wharton MBA program and ask any questions they may have about the school or the application process. Information sessions are held in the Wharton Admissions Office, located in Suite 420 of Jon M. Huntsman Hall at 3730 Walnut Street.
Formal class visits and other student-run admissions activities, such as campus tours, student lunches and weekly happy hours, will resume after October 27th. Advance registration for these events is recommended, but not required. “We welcome visitors at any time,” notes the school website.
