So, the torrent of stress that the gpa-contingent offer has unleashed is unbearable. Only now do I fully appreciate the suffering of my law school classmates who have cared–really cared–about grades all along. Man, law school was way more enjoyable and educational when an exam didn’t have the power to potentially halve my life-long earning potential.
Am I being melodramatic? Probably. I just can’t help myself at this point.
I sat for the Corporations Law midterm this morning. 25 questions at 10 points a piece. A large number of the questions called for simple “yes” or “no” answers. Deceptively simple, my friends. In a moment of complete insanity, I may have missed one of the finance questions by over-thinking it (projecting what my finance professors at McCombs would have built into the question, when I was sitting in a law school class).
In other news, I just submitted my bid on the global trip to India. I’ll find out at about 6pm central time whether I made it into the class.
