Last week, the assistant dean of MBA admissions and financial aid at the UCLA Anderson School of Business was recognized for her tweeting as part of the 2010 B2B Twitterer of the Year (B2BTOTY) Awards, the school announced on its MBA Insider’s Blog.
UCLA Anderson’s Mae Jennifer Shores was named Twitterer of the Year in the business school category at an awards ceremony January 28th. Now in its third year, the B2BTOTY Awards recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions in practicing, promoting and/or enhancing business using Twitter.
Nominations and final awards for Twitterer of the Year were based on several factors, including tweet content, the tweeter’s followers and metrics from leading Twitter analytics applications. Judges included B2B specialists and marketers from around the country.
Shores tweets most days and sometimes up to a dozen times a day. The content of her tweets ranges from real-time admissions developments to advice for prospective applicants to general business school trends and developments. If you are considering applying to UCLA Anderson – or to business school in general – following Shores on Twitter will keep you in the loop regarding admissions deadlines and tips, developments at Anderson and much more.
Our congratulations to Mae Jennifer Shores for her B2BTOTY Award! Congratulate and follow her yourself on Twitter: @MJShores
