Twitter Thursdays: News from MBA Programs

Welcome to this week’s Twitter Thursdays, our weekly roundup of the news and events reported by top MBA programs on Twitter.  If you’re not following Clear Admit already, be sure to check us out on Twitter for updates, special prizes, admissions tips and breaking news.   We’ve also created a list of MBA programs to ease your daily access to breaking news from the top MBA programs, as reported by admissions committee members themselves.

Across the pond, the Head of Admissions at Cambridge / Judge, Conrad Chua, lauded the value of the Cambridge network. Jon Fuller, the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at the Ross School of Business, rolled out the line-up of Café Chats, informal sessions hosted by Ross students about the MBA program. The Dean of UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, Jim Dean, shared a few stories from successful alums. Although Stanford will be building two new arts buildings, the Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Garth Saloner, noted the withdrawal of a bid to build a campus in New York City.

If you have been waitlisted at Chicago Booth, the school has outlined some potential next steps. Professors from The Kellogg School of Management shared their research on a wide range of timely topics, including Super Bowl ads and New Years’ resolutions.  As the semester drew to a close, The Wharton School posted some photos of the beginning of winter break.  Faculty at London Business School shared their thoughts and tips on what lies ahead in 2012.

That wraps up Twitter Thursdays this week!  If you’re on Twitter, let us know; e-mail wiki@clearadmit.com with your user name and status as an MBA applicant, student or admissions officer so we can add you to the appropriate Twitter list.  Happy updating and we’ll see you next week with some more “tweets!”
