Top B-Schools Increasing Applicant Intake

Despite a decrease in the number of international applicants as well as economic downtown, a number of the top brand Business Schools have increased their enrolment numbers for the upcoming years MBA program, with some schools accepting their largest class sizes ever.

Chicago Booth saw an increase from 577 to 592 full-time students, while Stanford increased its class side from 370 to 384. Wharton, at the University of Pennsylvania has enrolled 862, while Harvard and Ross (University of Michigan) swelled to 937 and 500 respectively. Another welcome surprise to come from this years enrolment figures in the increase of female students at two top school. Both Insead and Wharton enjoyed a surge in female students this year, with the number of women enrolled in the MBA program rising by 3% and 4% respectively.
