Hello Blog Readers!
I have just returned from a week on the road, talking about Tuck at two receptions and one weekend seminar. As always, I really enjoyed meeting prospectives and seeing our terrific alums and current students – thanks again to all of you for participating. Part of what makes working for Tuck such a pleasure is the genuine enthusiasm that our community members share about life here. I was struck once again about how pervasive this enthusiasm is … and if I were a prospective applicant I would pay close attention to indicators like alumni engagement. What sets Tuck apart, in my mind, is just how involved Tuck students are in the community, both while they are here and long after they graduate. I will elaborate more on this subject in an upcoming series of posts, as well as on other topics that may be of interest to you as you start your search. I will also revisit and expand upon admissions topics. As always, I am happy to give candid advice, both about what to look for in a school and also about how to present the strongest application. Please let me know if there are topics that you would like to see addressed, and I will do my best to cover your questions. Thanks for reading!
