I remain in close contact with two of my childhood girlfriends. To be certain, the three of us have followed different paths. So much so that I’m not sure that we would have found our way to friendship if we had met later in life. Nonetheless, I care deeply about both of them and can’t imagine my life without them!
In 2010, L and V became mothers within a few months of one another. It’s been fun to follow along with the little ones’ development via Facebook. But pictures tell only part of the story. Mission accomplished! What a treat to experience L and V as mothers and to meet their little men. While the boys are handsome–cute is a better adjective at this stage–it will be even more fun to meet them again once they are crawling, walking, and talking.
