Aggregate Salary Statistics for Class of 2009*
- Mean Base Salary: $98,689
- Median Base Salary: $95,000
- Mean Signing Bonus: $23,000
- Median Signing Bonus: $20,000
- Mean Guaranteed Bonus: $17,533
- Median Guaranteed Bonus: $11,500
Salary Statistics by Function for Class of 2009* (Mean, % Accepts)
- Treasury and Financial Analysis: $97,216, 15%
- Investment Banking: $90,205, 14%
- Investment Management and Research: $88,000, 10%
- Venture Capital: $101,000, 1%
- Sales and Trading: $80,000, 1%
- Brand/Product Marketing: $98,208, 15%
- Marketing Research: $99,250, 3%

- According to our Career Services Folks (take this with a grain of salt), other schools are reporting a range between 72-80%

- 98% had internships this summer
- Average at 10 other schools was 94% (which schools? I don’t know)
*I tend to think that our salary stats (in any given year) look low, but it might be worth considering that so many of our graduates choose to work in Texas, where the cost of living is much lower than in other parts of the country that typically draw MBAs after graduation. Unfortunately, Career Services did not provide any data regarding the geographic distribution of the Class of 2009’s permanent jobs.
