Most people get nervous before going into a job interview. They think that the interviewer holds all the trump cards, knowing everything about the company and the job in question. Also the interviewer has got a vision of the perfect employee that doesn’t exactly describe the person in the chair opposite. Not so, says David Couper, a Los Angeles based career and executive coach and the author of “Outsiders on the Inside: How to Create a Winning Career … Even When You Don’t Fit In”. In reality, most interviewers are ill-prepared and distracted, claims Couper.
