Recently, my iPhone 3G decided that it isn’t important for me to hear the person on the other end of a phone call. I can very faintly hear that there’s someone on the line, but the caller isn’t intelligible. I definitely can’t make out what they’re saying. Strangely (or maybe not so strangely to those who understand the iPhone’s design better than I), ringtones and text message alerts are still emitted at normal volume.
This has gone on for a while and it looks like time won’t heal my iPhone 3G’s wound. I’m going to do a little more digging… I mean Googling. In the meanwhile, I wanted to ask: have any of you a similar problem?
And, because I’m having one of those weeks, I spilled water on my new MacBook tonight. It’s likely time won’t heal that wound either.
To end on a positive note: I’m damn glad I held on to my trusty old Dell laptop. I’ve survived a year without television, a week without a telephone, but I’m not sure I can go a day without a computer.
