When I was a little girl, my mom told me to count my shiny pennies before I fell asleep at night. By this she meant that I should focus on the good things that had happened that day. Today, I have a shiny penny: I’ve finished all of my Leading People reading for the semester. Now all I have to do is take the final exam on November 30th.
