When I was at the Coop looking for textbooks last week, I was a little surprised to see undergrads (presumably freshman) shopping for textbooks with Mom and Dad in tow.
Also noticed parents escorting froshlings during a tour of Gregory Gym.
I’ve heard tale of the helicopter parent phenomenon (thanks to Anna Ivey, who has plenty of experience with said helicopter parents in her role as private admissions consultant), but have never really seen it in action before.
