NYU Interview Game Plan

Thanks everyone for the congrats and words of support. I was so excited last night I couldn’t get much sleep. My mind kept running over interview questions. So this morning, I am a bit groggy and tired. Anyway, I’m going to schedule my interview for the 26th. The reason I’m scheduling the interview date so far out is because I’m going to be busy the next couple of weeks with work and some personal things. And since I do want to spend plenty of time prepping and practicing, I thought that would be best so that I can put my all into the interview. Like I’ve written before, I have already drafted a list of questions and my answers for Stern. Now I have to fine-tune them something fierce. I also asked one of my coworkers who is a Stern alumni if she wouldn’t mind practicing with me. She said she’ll be glad to help and would even try to pull some interview questions off the alumni website. It’s do or die time and I plan on rocking it!
And I’ve spoke to my application manager at Cornell about visiting Ithaca. Apparently, classes won’t resume until the 22nd – basically nothing will be going on until then. I was planning on visiting on the 18th and 19th but it doesn’t make any sense to visit if no one’s one campus. I guess that leaves the trip to only if I’m invited for an interview.
