In an article in today’s Daily Pennsylvanian, Wharton Admissions Director J.J. Cutler discusses the school’s increasing number of female students. Wharton’s Class of 2005 was 33% female; the Class of 2011 will be 40% female – a difference of approximately 60 female students per year. The author is unafraid to explain that Wharton’s percentage is higher than rivals Harvard, Chicago and Kellogg.
