Columbia Business School student Michael Melmed recently sent us a YouTube video he made in his Social Media Marketing class displaying all the reasons CBS students love the school so much and what makes it unique. He posed the question “Please help me… Why Columbia Business School!?!? #WhyCBS” on Twitter and received an overwhelming response from his classmates. He was inspired by the new question on the CBS application asking applicants to share, in 200 characters or less, their post-MBA professional goals. Melmed says he created this video to “help potential applicants in any way possible,” so he has opened up the comments section on the video to have current students actively answering prospective student questions. With almost 4,500 views and 54 comments to date, it looks like Melmed has produced a video that not only helps applicants, but reminds current and former students what made them choose CBS.
