MBA News: Forbes Guest Columnists Demand More for Female MBAs

Forbes.com published a piece this morning, accusing business schools of failing to create the necessary conditions for women to pursue their MBAs and thrive in these programs and beyond.  Pointing to a report that women make $4,600 less than men upon graduation and citing the statistic that business schools have 30% female representation, compared with law and medical schools which have 50% female representation, the authors call for change in the form of gender specific leadership training and enduring mentorship. While the columnists do not call any specific school to task or compliment any school in particular, it should be noted that Wharton is the leading business school with respect to female representation at 40%. The question is, what is Wharton doing right?
