At Wharton, we are constantly amazed by the achievements and professional expertise that our students bring to the classroom. Recently, Matthew Axelrod (WG'11), a former Pentagon Official, was interviewed by PBS for his take on the recent events in Egypt. Matthew, a student in the Lauder Program, was the North African and Egypt Director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (at the Pentagon) and held a Fulbright Research Fellowship in Egypt from 2007-2008, researching the U.S. – Egypt strategic relationship.
