Northwestern University has selected the site where a new facility to house the Kellogg School of Management will be constructed, Northwestern President Morton Schapiro and Kellogg Interim Dean Sunil Chopra announced Wednesday.
The new building will be constructed on the northeast corner of Northwestern’s Evanston campus, bordered on two sides by Lake Michigan and affording spectacular views of the lake, the Chicago skyline and the North Shore.
“This will be an outstanding new home for Kellogg in a wonderful location on campus,” Chopra said in a statement. “The new facility will enable Kellogg to provide state-of-the-art teaching facilities, additional amenities for our students and office space for our faculty.”
The building will include classrooms, offices for faculty and administration and collaborative learning spaces. The timeline for design and construction of the new facility is contingent upon fundraising efforts, which are currently underway.
