Registered for Day at Kellogg, got a hotel reservation (pretty sure students don’t host), and booked a flight. Whew. They have a lot of activities planned. The thought of being “on” for 3 days with a bunch of strangers always scares me, but I’m sure it’ll be a ton of fun. Very happy to book the flight with frequent flier miles. Even though it would have been better to book a flight that would cost more than $300, they expire soon so I need to use them. I got the UPS e-mail that my admit package is on its way. This is not good for the obsessive part of my personality. I stupidly track the package twice a day, even though I know it’ll come Tuesday. Just glad I’ll get it before I leave for Christmas.

Going to a Kellogg women’s coffee chat tomorrow if I can wake up in time (it’s at 3:30 but I’m extremely lazy lately). I wonder if any admits will be there — It’ll be nice to meet a current student and more applicants.

Submitted Columbia. That application is truly obnoxious. I had to fix all of my apostrophes multiple times in their archaic online system. Just let us upload our essays like every other school’s application. Going home for a couple weeks and plan to eat too many cookies and not think about this stuff at all, except for when relatives congratulate me. Enjoy your holidays everyone!
