I took my graduation portrait today. The point of this was to put on some doctoral regalia and get photographic evidence–for my family’s satisfaction. There are a lot of doctors (of dentistry and medicine) in my family that were sorely disappointed to find that UT Law’s juris doctorates graduate in white suits instead of proper, Harry Potter-esque wizard robes. I found a way to make it work. I put on some burnt orange robes and my best smile.
