I stumbled across divergent perspectives on the value of an MBA in the last few days. First, from Matt Symonds, who discusses the good news on the MBA job front at his site, MBA50.com. Then a very down piece, “Think Twice” from The Economist by Philip Delves Broughton, who is making a career out of bashing business schools, and perhaps with reason. Finally, a very thoughtful, but not recent, piece by Steve Blank for Entrepreneur Corner, who says “it depends” on your professional goals in “Should an entrepreneur have an MBA?”
If you share your thoughts on these three articles, I’ll share mine.
