The most recent issue of HispanicBusiness magazine features its annual ranking the Best Business Schools for Diversity. Each school was ranked in terms of Hispanic diversity according to the following criteria: percentage of Hispanic student enrollment, percentage of Hispanic faculty, and “progressive programs aimed at increasing enrollment of Hispanic students.”
The school at the top of the ranking is the University of Texas at El Paso’s College of Business Administration, where 88 percent of the graduate enrollment is Hispanic, and 34 percent of the faculty is Hispanic. New York University’s Stern School of Business is ranked second, where 5.6 percent of graduate enrollment is Hispanic, as well as 3.8 percent of faculty.

3. University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business
4. University of Miami
5. University of Texas at San Antonio
6. University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management
7. Stanford University Graduate School of Business
8. Florida International University Chapman Graduate School of Business
9. Duke University Fuqua School of Business
10. University of Wisconsin School of Business
The purpose of the ranking, according to the magazine, is to measure “the effectiveness of the nation’s universities in attracting Hispanic students, and in providing them with the academic support they need to ensure they make the grade then make a difference.”
In addition to business, the HispanicBusiness rankings also focused on medicine, law, and engineering.
