It was a particularly beautiful spring day in Austin. Done with classes for the week, I took the long way home to enjoy the sunshine. Graduation is in just a few weeks. All is right and well in the world. But then I stepped out of the stairwell and into the hallway to find this:
Already!?! I was assuming the arrival of my bar exam prep materials would be a soul-crushing day, but I almost felt excited (gonna enjoy that while I can). I’m one step closer to making this attorney gig official.
And I’m doing it without BarBri. I opted for Kaplan’s new, full-service offerings. Unfortunately, Kaplan and I are off to a bumpy start. They sent me two duplicate boxes of multi-state materials, but no California materials. I called the Customer Service number to report the error, but waited on hold only to be transferred to voicemail. Here’s hoping we’ll clear up the confusion tomorrow.
