February 1, 2011 Hello Everyone: It’s Eileen Chang from HBS. Since it is the beginning of the month, we wanted to provide you with an update on where we are right now. I know many of you have been patiently waiting for news. Right now we are deep in evaluating our Round 2 applicants. The first wave of interview invitations will begin going out this Friday, February 4 and will continue until February 16. Some of you on the waitlist were not interviewed in Round 1. If you are in this group, we are currently evaluating your application along with the Round 2 applicants. You should expect one of two outcomes this month: you will either be invited to interview sometime between February 4 and February 16 along with those from Round 2, or your application will be released on February 16 in order to enable you to pursue other options. For those of you who were already interviewed in Round 1, you should not expect any activity this month. We will revisit your application again in March as we make decisions on the Round 2 candidates. Many of you should expect a decision on your application on March 29, the decision notification date for Round 2. I will have more information for you in my update on March 1. We do not plan to make decisions any earlier than what I have outlined above. We understand that some of you may require a different timeline; if so, and you would like to remove yourself from our waitlist, please let Dana Scalisi know at dana_scalisi@hbs.edu. Thank you for your patience, and please contact us if this is not clear. Sincerely, Eileen Chang |
