It looks like, based on this adcom blog post, HBS sent out the vast majority of its R1 invites today. The previous blog post said the invites would start tomorrow, Nov. 12, and would not all be sent out in a single day — it looks like for all intents and purposes they went back on that suggestion. For the remaining thousands of applicants, there are only 100 more interview slots and 100 invitations to the R1 waitlist without interview.
Unless the email is stuck in a queue and arrives later today, it looks like I didn’t get one. Did anyone else in the blogosphere get an invite? As excruciating as Wharton’s long process has been, having my hope to attend HBS drastically reduced in a few seconds is kind of tough. Kudos to the adcom for being so up-front about their process, though.
