Applying to UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business? There’s an app for that. That’s right. The Haas School this week announced that is has launched a new iPhone application for prospective students for its evening and weekend MBA program. The new app is available for free in the iTunes Store.
The application was developed by Simple But Needed, a firm co-founded by evening and weekend student Shourya Basu, MBA ’11. It features a calendar of upcoming events related to the evening and weekend MBA program, profiles of current students, a class profile of the evening and weekend program, news, campus maps, photos, videos and links to related blogs, Twitter and Facebook pages.
Simple But Needed plans to launch additional apps in coming months for the admissions process for the school’s other MBA programs. Simple But Needed co-founder Jon Noreika developed the new Berkeley-Haas application; its design was the work of Jane Hambleton and Jim Wilson from Cuttriss & Hambleton.
Don’t forget: Clear Admit also offers its own iPhone app, which compiles time-sensitive information about the admissions process at multiple top-tier MBA programs, ideal for applicants who are trying to juggle several applications at once. This iPhone app, also free, is available here.
