Good bye Tuck

My last days at Tuck went by unbelievably fast. In between “Disorientation” (see blog titled Disorientation), finals, packing and, moving out time flew by and before I knew it graduation weekend was here; it took me by surprise, I wasn’t prepared to say good bye to all my friends and I definitely wasn’t prepared to pack all the stuff I accumulated in the US over the past two years. Both of them were painful and long process.

I started to have “farewell parties” a month before graduation. I went to all the known and unknown restaurants in the area and in each of them I indulged myself with remarkable meals and big desserts which helped me to gain over eight pounds in the last month. During this time I realized how much I am going to miss my friends: hanging out and talking (and why not say it now: gossiping) with Kristin, having fabulous dinners at the Harvey’s or at Kristen’s (Kris10) and all their crew, hanging out (and being bossed around by Nykia), looong dinners with Marija (I would never understand why this dinners always ended up with old men trying to flirt with us at Canoe Club), chitchatting with Brinda, going to parties with Giacomo and, partnering to do class projects with Axel (and constantly being worried about it). Of course, these are just a few names that come to my mind. There are many people that made Tuck a special place for me and because of that, they would always have a special place in my heart.

I don’t want to depress you guys talking about my friends (while complimenting them in public) and, whining about how much I’m going to miss being in the sheltered Tuck area. I just want to finish letting you know that I think that coming to Tuck was one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made; I’ve gained so much both personally and career wise by coming here. So, if you are still undecided make up your mind and come to Tuck. Trust me, you’ll love it.
