It’s going to be on Tuesday, 6/23 after work at the Crocodile Lounge. I’ve been there before and there are a lot of young college students that patron there. Probably because they give away free pizzas with your drink. They’re not that good, but free makes anything edible. A pretty sweet deal for your average broke and hungry college student. I’ll probably stop by to say to hi and maybe drum up some feedback on my application again. These guys were genuinely helpful last time and it doesn’t hurt to see what’s new in the BSchool circle. And again of course, I’ll report back.
I’ve been biking everyday this past week, sometimes by myself, sometimes with friends or the team. According to the speedometer on my bicycle, I logged just under 200 miles in six days. The side effects? My calves look like they swallowed a couple of cantaloupes. But I was getting a little bored. So Saturday morning, I thought I switch it up and go for a run instead. Not a long run, maybe just the usual six miles. But when the blood started flowing and the adrenaline kicked in, I just kept on going. By the time I got home, I ran over 10 miles!! And in an hour and 5 minutes too! That is a new record for me. I was quite surprised myself. I definitely have improved, speed and stamina wised. If I continue improving at this rate, I might actually be able to pull off a half-triathlon next year.
