GMAT Prep: Grockit

We have written about Grockit before – they have a really interesting – and fun – approach to GMAT prep.

Here is a bit more information as well as a generous offer for readers of the Stacy Blackman blog!  Read on…

Grockit offers an online social learning game that optimizes how you study for the GMAT.  Grockit’s analytic capabilities and adaptive technology identifies students’ strengths and weaknesses, focusing the student’s study time.  Students can practice in adaptive solo games, play social learning games with peers, and work with experts that match their specific needs.  Grockit also creates a sense of community with in-game chat, rewards, badges, and a leaderboard.

GMAT test prep students can start playing Grockit and practicing for free.  Users may then upgrade to a premium membership which has additional features and content.  Clients of Stacy Blackman and readers of her blog may apply the coupon code “SB” for a 20% discount off Grockit’s price.

Grockit was founded in 2006 by CEO Farbood Nivi, a respected test prep leader with more than a decade of teaching and test prep experience, including teaching, curriculum development, teacher training and program management.  Nivi is a former Kaplan academic director and was Princeton Review’s 2002 teacher of the year.  He is guided by the principle that the best way to learn is together and people have the ability to teach each other outside the traditional educational systems.

Thanks to our friends at Grockit!!
