Three test prep organizations, GMAC, Pearson VUE, and ACT, announced an extension of their service agreement through 2022. The partnership will embrace “all aspects of GMAT exam development and administration, including a renewed commitment to enhancing test taker access, continuing innovation and evolution of the exam.”
The partnership between the three companies was formed in 2006. Since then, the GMAT test has expanded its access to more than 550 test centers across 110 countries.
The Next Generation GMAT is scheduled for June 2012 and will feature a new integrated reasoning section, emphasizing “problem-solving, critical thinking and the ability to assimilate and draw conclusions from information presented through multiple platforms and media types.”
In the GMAC press release, all three companies express excitement and enthusiasm about moving forward as a team.
