Fall has come. From what I have seen, the colors are very nice as in Texas we typically don’t get that great of a change. The leaves go from green to brown with no varieties in reds and oranges along the way. But here on campus it is truly beautiful.
Obama plans to make the energy crisis his top priority and hopes to accomplish this crisis with nuclear power. I am very surprised that he finally conceded to nuclear. From an engineering and financial standpoint it makes great sense. I believe it’s the only way we can move that is readily available without a crisis and in a timely manner.
What it comes down to is that America could use a cultural reality check in energy consumption and lifestyle. And maybe nuclear isn’t the way to go. A slow progression towards more ‘natural’ energy could work but this would just upset the economy even more.
