Founded by 25 companies in 2002, the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) needs endowment capital in the amount of 200 million euros, explained Michael Diekmann, CEO of Allianz SE and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the ESMT Foundation, at an Allianz press conference. So the school is currently lacking about 100 million euros. As of yet, the school has also fallen very short when it comes to the expansion of its faculty and student numbers.
