After working mighty furiously hard on my Cornell essays this weekend, the first rough drafts are done. And they turned out pretty well if I say so myself. I stuck to the central themes while putting my own unique personality into them, especially for the table of contents/autobiography essay. But wordage-wise, I still need to do some cutting down. The next thing to do is to forward them to some friends/colleagues who have already agreed to take a look. The plan is to get them done by the end of this month and submit my application right after new years. Seeing how it is the holidays and all, I’ll try my hardest to stick to that schedule.
As for NYU, I’ll read on some of the forums that the first interview invites have already been sent out. Still waiting on mine…fingers crossed…very tightly!
