Columbia application done & done!, MBA Admissions Panel August 6

So I’ve completely done filling in Columbia’s fall application. Had to spend a little longer on the details because of the character limits in some of the fields. Anyway, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to submit yet. No, I’m going to let it sit there and revisit every few days or so to double/triple/quadruple check my work – to make sure that everything is in perfect order. I realize I’m very anal like that. But isn’t that true of most MBAs? That should put me in good company then. Besides, this is important. It’s like you’re winding down the last leg of the race and you want to finish strong. No mistakes (hopefully) at this stage of the game. I’ve already gotten one of my friends to double check (at the cost of only a $5 falafel – it was my turn to treat anyway) all the paperwork, ie. gmatscore, transcript, etc. My plan is to submit on August 10 – that’s right, a full week before Early Decision review period begins. I think that should be enough time to put me near the top of the application pile. And with any luck, I’ll hear back with hopefully good news along with an interview.

There’s another MBA event next Wednesday in NYC. I’m probably going to attend because I’m curious and probably won’t have anything to do that day. Here is the info for those interested.
