Clear Admit MBA Planner iPhone App Updated to Include 2010 Bloomberg Businessweek Rankings

The Clear Admit MBA Planner, an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch designed to help prospective applicants stay organized throughout the MBA application process, was recently updated to include the complete 2010 Bloomberg Businessweek MBA rankings.

This new feature places the complete rankings, which were released last week, at applicants’ fingertips, where they can consult them effortlessly as they compare and contrast MBA programs as part of researching their target schools.

The other features of the MBA Planner app remain unchanged. It still boasts a range of organizational tools and detailed information about individual schools to help applicants save time and stay on track as they apply to multiple top-tier MBA programs. And as always, the MBA Planner app is completely free, available for download at the iTunes store.

To start using the Clear Admit MBA Planner app, simply download it from iTunes and select your target schools. The app’s To Do feature will automatically generate a checklist of application components for each school, while the My Schools Dashboard feature will provide each applicant with a customized snapshot of his or her progress, including a running countdown to each school’s deadline and a progress bar showing just how much of each application has been completed.

Here’s a snapshot of the app at work that ran as part of a recent blog post on Poets&Quants:

Blogger Mark Wong speaks very enthusiastically about what he calls the “very cool Clear Admit MBA Planner app,” which has helped him keep organized as he prepares round two applications for Haas School of Business, the Wharton School, Anderson School of Management, Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School. “OMG – Only a month left for Haas!” Wong writes – and it’s clear to see at the top of the Clear Admit MBA Planner screen.

As he blogs about his application process on Poets&Quants, Wong notes that school research is the one area where he still has a lot of work to do. The Clear Admit MBA App can help with that as well. It brings student demographic data, job placement and salary stats, essay questions and analysis – and now the Bloomberg Businessweek rankings – all straight to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

To download the FREE Clear Admit MBA Planner, complete with the most recent Bloomberg Businessweek MBA rankings, visit the iTunes store.
