TG is an abbreviation of the abbreviation TGIF (aka “Thank God It’s Friday”) and is the name of a popular weekly social event, hosted by various campus clubs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management throughout the year. Held in the school’s atrium, TG is an opportunity for students to wind down the week with beers and appetizers and to interact with professors and members of Kellogg administration in an informal atmosphere. The event attracts primarily first-year students, but second years are known to occasionally make an appearance as well.
