From flashcards by Beat the GMAT, Kaplan and MGMAT to vocabulary apps and more, Chitra found these tools extremely helpful for preparation on the go. Check them out and let me know what you think.
The 411 for international applicants — Rocky’s Babson MBA Blog 2012 offers advice this week for incoming MBA students and foreign applicants considering business school in the United States. He provides counsel on staying abreast of the employment outlook in your target market, practical training limitations and H1B visa sponsorship. If you’re going to a top-tier school and think his advice doesn’t pertain to you, Rocky has one thing to say: “Wake up and get real!”
An open letter to new applicants – Ellipsing My Way…to Business School shares thoughts on the application process for those about to embark on the journey to Business School this year. “I wish back then I had someone telling me…. forget all of the business school information sessions and visiting schools and stuff.. focus on the GMAT and only the GMAT,” he writes, adding that outreach to current students and research into schools can all be done AFTER you take the GMAT for the last time.
