ASW: Admitted Student Weekend

ASW is one of my favorite Tuck activities. I really encourage all of the admitted students that are still weighting their options to come and get a feeling of Tuck and life in Hanover. Of course, is a bit late now to try to convince anyone to come, but let me tell you why I like ASW weekend so much and what did you miss if you were not here.
My favorite activity is the international lunch, where you can enjoy a variety of flavors and tastes; you can try French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Brazilian, Argentinean food and even southern US food. All of them cooked by locals (students or their partners). It is really good and also is a great opportunity to share with current students and their families.
There are also multiple receptions and meetings going on for the future students and their families, there are upper valley treks, class simulations, dinner parties in local restaurants, etc. Friday night there is always the “Vegas” night, where you can see most of the Tuckies gambling or trying to do so, there are also dinner parties being held all over the place. On Saturday night there is always a dance party where you can see the Tuck Band: “Yield to Maturity” perform. It is definitely quite an experience.
In general is a very busy weekend with people coming and going and future Tuckies and their families get a taste of what it is attending Tuck. If you came, you know what I’m talking about and if you didn’t… now you know what you missed.
