Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline! We hope all our readers in the US or abroad enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday (if they celebrated it). This week applicants were hearing back from their R1 schools, as far as interview invitations. Current students were also engaged in everything from black tie parties to photoshopped art.
The Phoenix checked in with his application progress, which included a zap from HBS but an interview invites from Wharton and Kellogg. Ms. HR understood the value of a school visit. Ccatcher shared how she relaxed after MBA applications: art.
Oxford ’13 Bayo gave an overview of some of the choices he was encountering, and attended a black tie birthday party. MIT ’13 ECLS experienced a number of amazing events over the last six months, and shared some of the most memorable. Tepper ’13 Julianne discussed how to pre-register for the schools mini courses.
HBS ’12 EngineerToMBA encouraged readers to ask questions for an upcoming interview with the HBS Director of Admissions. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy responded to a reader question focused on what the Kellogg Adcom was looking for in applicants. GW ’12 Part-Timer wrote his latest post about negotiation role playing. Darden ’12 Patrick started his latest blog post about creativity with a hypothesis.
And that’s all for this edition of Fridays From the Frontline. Until next week, have a great weekend!
